There is a certain sexiness about folks who come from warmer climates. Perhaps it’s the baring of skin that opens up the senses and heightens the sexuality. Whatever it is can be seen in Serge Gay Jr.’s work. Born in Haiti and spending most of his life in Miami, Serge Gay Jr.’s pieces focus on the socio-political, but contain much of the magnetism familiar to his earlier locales.
